John – Front Tooth Implant
Hi, my name is John. I just have a little story to tell you about my teeth and that’s why I’m here today, and also to show you the outcome. Years ago, I was riding a pony at my parent’s farm and this pony was feeling frisky. It was in the winter, it was cold, and he just tossed his head up and hit me right in the face. He knocked out my front tooth, knocked it three quarters of the way up, and I had a lot of issues over the years after that. It was very painful. I had several caps put on and I’ve had different abscesses. I don’t remember the procedures that I’ve had, but it’s been a nuisance over the years. So Dr. Sonick was recommended to me, and I did some research and I realized that was the man that I needed to go see. So when I saw Dr. Sonick, he said it was one of his tougher cases, but he does a lot of them in the course of a week, so we did the procedure. We had bone grafts done, and of course, you have to let that heal — the bone has to become viable enough to hold the implant in. So it’s now three years, and this is the final product, right here. The bone is good, there is no more infection. I had a couple of veneers put in next to it and I can smile again. I was always afraid to smile, and I hated my smile, but after the implant and the veneers, I am learning how to smile all over again. I’m really, really happy with the job, and I highly recommend Dr. Sonick. I will be seeing him for as long as we’re both still around.
