Lonnie – Multiple Implants
Good morning! My name is Lonnie Hodges. I just want to share with you the experience I went through with Dr. Ma. I had an abscess, and I was in a lot of pain, and I was talking with my sister, and she was telling me, “You’re gonna have to get that out your mouth, because that’s infecting your mouth,” and she said, “I’m going to research. I’m going to have to find you a dentist.” So she researched and found Dr. Ma. So I called Dr. Ma and made an appointment, and he looked and he said we’re going to have to extract that tooth. I was like, well Dr. Ma, I just want you to take them all out because I don’t want to come back anymore, just take them all out. He was like, no, first we’re going to take the one out that’s causing pain and then we’ll talk about what we are going to do from there. He took out the one that was paining me, and we later talked about the other teeth. After he took the other teeth out, because they were failing anyway, he talked to me about dental implants. So I went ahead and did like he asked. He had to build my jaw up some because it was kind of soft, so he had to build tissue up in my jaw to insert the post. He went ahead and did everything that he had to do. You know, there was a little waiting period, but not long. Just knowing the fact that I’m going to be able to smile and enjoy my smile, enjoy meeting people without having to hide my mouth, all that was great. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Ma. As a matter of fact, I’ve already recommended family members to him.
