Patty – Multiple Implants
Hi. My name is Patty, and I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sonick’s for more than 30 years. When I first came to him, I was referred to him by my general dentist to see if I could have implants. When I was 17 years old, I had to have all of my upper teeth removed, and for many years, I wore a denture. I had a serious complex about it, and I wanted to see if I could have permanent teeth. At the time, Dr. Sonick, after a lot of visits, told me that I didn’t have enough bone to sustain them. But dentistry was changing, and he thought that maybe in the future, he could do something for me. So we kept in touch, we communicated by mail because it was the time before we had emails, and one time he called and said maybe we could help you. So I came in, and we did bone grafting on my upper teeth. Eventually I was able to have about 12 implants and I had new teeth, but it was still a denture. It wasn’t permanent because, at the time, I couldn’t do it. Recently, I came back and asked him if it was something we could do more permanently, and we did, and it made me a different person. This office, and Dr. Sonick especially, is just wonderful. He never forgets his patients. He remembers. He keeps in touch. It’s a wonderful place to come. I never ever have any fears about coming to the dentist. I come regularly, every 3 months, because I want to keep my teeth. There’s no place on earth like this office. I recommend it to everyone. You’re really making a mistake if you don’t come here.
